Otella Wruck’s first creative memories are of gathering bits of fabric, feathers, seed pods, paper scraps to organize, and eventually glue coupled with scribbled words.  These creative works were elemental, physical, eclectic – image and text combined.

Photo collages and current poems, are tracks layered through time, inner and outer perception blended. Multiple images in her photography merge and blur past and present to intensify nature and portrait works.

A Southern California native, she flourished exploring the natural world at beaches in Orange County abundant with tide pool. She savored blistering summer bike rides along the LA River where she gathered critters among the rocks and from the river.

She studies art and poetry at UCLA Extension, Otis Art Institute, Beyond Baroque, and privately. Her work has been published by Moon Stone in Philadelphia and she exhibited sculpture, painting, drawing and photography at First Independent Gallery (FIG) in Santa Monica at Bergamont Station for nearly twenty years.
